The author of this non-fiction book is Kate Strohm. Kate is a sibling herself so she shares her own experiences as well as giving a voice to other sibs. Whilst I liked this book, in my view it has been written more for adult siblings, parents and medical practitioners.
After telling her own story Kate shares anecdotes from other siblings about various issues. It reminds siblings that we're not alone and there are others out there in similar situations and facing similar issues to our own.
There is also a section that is largely for parents and practitioners that gives strategies about different situations.
I would recommend this book to siblings aged 14-15 and up. I would also suggest it to parents of children with disabilities.
