  I live in a small town, I mean really small. Why can't people understand? I have a brother with a severe case of autism. THERE I SAID IT!!!!! Uggggggggggg. People can be so cruel and heartless. My brother has to take pills to calm him down; the side effect though, is that he has no metabolism. He weighs about 258lbs (117kg). People will say things like "ohhhhhh he's so fat he has bigger boobs than his sister!" He was once asked by a hotel manager to put a shirt on while he swims in the pool because there have been complaints. He's growing older, he's 17. He's on a new diet of no wheat and no dairy. He's not happy. At one point he was almost 300lbs (136kg). His throat was so clogged up he could hardly walk up a flight of stairs with out panting. I am 5"7 (170cm) and weigh only 100lbs (45kg) so when people compare us it hardly seems fair.  I have another brother who has a bad case of ADD, he's 15. It's so hard keeping the peace between them sometimes. He’s 6"3 (190cm) and 150lbs (68kg). Again when people compare my brothers it hurts. They say cruel hurtful things that no one deserves to hear. My brother is not retarded or a waste of space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess I'm here. I’m working over the summer 8 hours a day to help pay the bills. I hope someone wants to talk. I could use some friends.

Hi I know how you feel my bro Jason has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy and at the age of 12 weighs 122kg. Sad I know. I'm always being teased and no longer am I known as Jess but I'm known as Jason's sister. Most of the time I enjoy hanging with him but it's kind of hard. You poor thing!! I hate it how people can be so cruel. I give you my support in the no wheat and dairy diet. I have just been diagnosed with ADD and cannot have any sugar, wheat and dairy. There are a lot of great diets. Doc. Cabot, failsafe diet, body ecology diet.

Don’t listen to what other people say, they don’t know what they are talking about in the first place. Which means they are STUPID!!!

I know what you mean, my little bro has autism and my big bro and I have ADD, my family usually has the worst possible reactions to meds. So I know what you mean. Hang in there and stay encouraging,
