I try to go out with my sibling to have a 'normal' fun day but I come home annoyed and upset in some cases about the pointing and staring, it can also be frustrating when my brother doesn’t understand and gets frustrated with me or I can’t understand his signs because he has decided to confuse me by making up his own but still expects me to understand them, all up though it is just a little price to pay to have such a wonderful brother. |

it feels like no one else understands what it's like to be in your situation. Parents and friends included. It’s so frustrating to feel like there's no one who knows just how you are feeling about something related to your special sib. |

brand new buildings are built without proper access, toilets designed for people with disabilities are used as storerooms and cars WITHOUT 'disabled stickers' are parked in designated carspaces, by people who either should know better or couldn't care less. |

I can see things that need to be done regarding disability services and everyone else chooses to ignore it and do nothing about it. They are BLIND. |

my sister carries on about the same things in circles, talking about one person on and on and on, until I think I will scream if I ever hear that person's name again. It is frustrating that she doesn't realise that by becoming so obsessed with these people she makes them feel uncomfortable and sometimes drives them away.... even though that is the thing she dreads most in the world. I wish she understood that. |

I feel confused about my emotions and don’t understand why I feel certain ways. |

my sister wants me to constantly repeat things over and over again, even when I'm really exhausted and just need a rest. |

people won't let my sister do her favourite things because they aren't age appropriate. Why deprive her of the few things she loves? Who is advantaged by it? She certainly isn't. |

there is no one and nothing that will make you fell better about you and your life, when you want to cry and you can’t because you have to be strong your mother, brother and sister. |

you see him trying to get something like a toy and his arm just won't do what he wants it to do and when he cries and he can't talk so you don't know what’s wrong. |

it took me ages to think about what to write for this! Many things are frustrating, like just not being able to get to places. But the most frustrating thing is when people speak to my brother like he is a baby, or don't even speak to him at all. |

I don't get some attention I need and I get grumpy and then I get into trouble. |

We are out in public and my brother starts to scream and yell, and I get frustrated because it's so embarrassing. |

I get less attention from my family just beacause of my Sib's illness. |

My sisters routine makes me do things like go to school extra early, so if i leave later, she ends up not eating breakast because i have to leave first before she eats (routine) and we run out of time. then if i do stay that extrea 10 minutes, she will start screaming and that wrecks my day because now i feel guilty for putting mum through the stress of calming her down and my sister will go hungry so if i just left early then i would be uncomfortable but everyone else would have a stress free day. its hard. |
