Links: Inside out

Information - Support - Fun Stuff

If you looking for information, if you are looking for support or if you are just looking for some fun things to do on the web then we have the links for you! This page has plenty of links to entertain, inform or support you!

This page includes a list of other places to find support and information for Sibs, and the option for Sibs to let us know about other excellent websites or services they come across. The list is split into three sections - one for websites that provide information (about being a Sib or particular disabilities or conditions), one for websites that provide support to Sibs, and one for sites that are just there for fun! Just click on the title at the top left of this page to move between the three.

A reminder to Sibs that, while websites can be a fantastic source of info and support for Sibs, nothing really beats chatting to someone who listens to your point of view face to face about your experiences as a Sib.

Some of the people you might decide to talk to about life as a Sib could be a family member or a friend, someone you met at a sibling group or camp, another Your Shout Sib or a teacher or counsellor at school.

If for some reason you feel like you can't talk to any of those people then Sibs can talked to trained counsellors by ringing the Kids Help Line on (freecall) 1800 551 800, Lifeline on (freecall) 13 11 14, or registering as a Young Carer with the Commonwealth Carer Resource Centre by phoning (freecall) 1800 242 636.
