Burwood show is looking great! 33 traders.
Lots of demos, make-n-takes etc.
Also there will be classes on offer – more about that soon.

We are happy to also announce that there will be a kids’ competition with prizes donated by Little Bits.
Prizes will be dished out a couple of times during each day.

So lots of prizes for everyone –
* free lucky door prize tickets to every paying customer through the door.
* 3 BIG BIG prizes donated by Fern Gully Stamps. Free entry to this one. Come along to the show and fill in the slip with your contact details.

: After a very succesful show, Shirley takes centre stage amongst all demonstrators.

Many people enjoyed MAKE and TAKE, trying out the Multigrids, and walked away with a beautiful handmade little gift card.We had young and old lining up to have a go.
Next Show (october ) in East Burwood we will be at Tim’s stand again so please come and visit us.

Exciting news! - Little Bits are running classes at the show.
Here’s the info:
12-2pm Vintage Style Christmas Cards $30
We will make 5 cards with a vintage touch using Darkroom Door’s new Dear Santa Vol 2 set. In your kit will be a voucher so that you can purchase this set at 25% off after the class.

2:30-3:30pm Beginners Christmas Cards $20
Whether you’re just starting out in this hobby, or after some very quick and easy ideas, this class is for you.

Book now by calling the shop on 03 9798 4122, or book at the Little Bits stand at the show. Classes are all inclusive – you don’t need to bring a thing, it’s all provided.

You can also look forward to 33 traders, 19 of which are giving product demonstrations and 8 of which are doing make-n-takes.
The free supervised kids’ card-making area is offering a new little project for those who like a bit of direction otherwise just come along and do your own thing.

Come to the show on Saturday and return with a friend on Sunday – only pay one entry fee. Yes you get in for free if you bring a friend with you. See us at the door for this offer before you go home on Saturday

I need your help to come up with a “motto” or “tagline” for the show.

Here’s what to do: come along to the show and fill in your name and contact details on the slip provided. Now I know that you are all very creative and so we also want your ideas for a motto or tag line.

For example:

Kentucky Fried Chicken Finger-lickin’ good!
M&Ms Melts in your mouth, not in your hands
McDonald’s I’m lovin’ it

I think you get the idea.

The tag must be no more than 5 words in length.

Note that 3 winners will be chosen at random regardless of the tag they come up with.

Be creative, be zany, be silly, be serious – I don’t mind. I just need your help plus you just might win.

The winners do not have to be present when we draw the prizes at 3.00pm on the Sunday as we will contact all the winners. – more details here

At this camp we always have a competition in honour of Rhonda Baker, who passed away suddenly.

Rhonda loved clowns and had quite a collection at home.

The winner of 2010 was Wendy.

She received the Rhonda Baker Encouragement Award for her entry, which was done in beautiful pencilwork on Parchment paper.

My entry in the annual Clown Competition
